PYAJ, PETROL & KALMADI

2010 saw a rise of a new kind of celebrities. They challenged Sass & Bohus in the kitchen, beat cricketers in Tea Stalls, and conquer Item Queens on 24X7 news channels. They wrote new scripts of success and scale new heights in their reputations.

PYAJ won the war against the Tulsi and Parvati, and able to bring more tear in the eyes of our ladies. Apart from the fun things the main question is to be asked what made our supply chain. failed. Unseasonal rain took the official responsibility but as every thing is this nation is seemed to fixed I may use the flexibility to say that this rain was also being fixed. There are circumstances despite of the rain export was given a green signal. God knows whether these onions are exported or kept in some safe place for black selling. Had this mechanism worked properly mango people had not cried these onion tears. The need for a centralized supply chain management become more evident as in the middle of crisis farmers in Karnataka complaint that the onions are not bought from them, instead the government went to Pakistan. This is not technical limitation for a country which exports software worth billions . This is an limitation of our think tank.

PETROL and Sachin both waited to reach 50. Finally petrol beat sachin and reach Rs.58 in some cities in our country when Pakistan is selling it 34/liter. If you want to see the calculation you can visit this link http://www.kokkada.com/calculations-of-petrol-prices-in-india/ . If see it there the high price is just due to the bad tax policies that is implemented. So there is a problem or opportunity I am leaving with you. Govt should take firm steps to standardize alternate fuel. Use of ethanol can be a great option, but all these thing need a very dedicated effort. We need at least a decade to establish a proper infrastructure in order to make these alternate fuel usable. The automobile sector should lead this effort as cost of fuel always affect their bread the most.

KALMADI is the name which keep our so called 4rth pillar of democracy busy. But the big question I always asks my self if Mr. Kalmadi is convicted in the court of law of what he has accused of , then how many such Kalmadis are there in our country. CWG 2010 reminds us how corrupts we are rather than an occasion where we won more than 100 medals and other sporting glories. The next question that comes to me what price these people are going to pay for being wasting peoples' money and national image. This is quite interesting. Because when some body in future wants commit these kind of crime he must want to know what happened to these people. Now it is the high time to consider these people as KASAB, because I don't find any reason why we should not. Kasab gains some sympathy as he is uneducated, radically influenced but these people sit in th AC, drinks mineral water and travel in the car from our pocket still behave with us in the same manner as Kasab does. At least my dad didn't pay any tax to feed Kasab but he surely spend 33% of his income on these people.

So the question again remain open, why these thing happen to us only. The answer lies within us only. Because we never try to clear the environment rather find an excuse and the pollution created by us always as little as a drop when compared others. But we forget the oceans are made from these drops only.........................

RESEARCH : A PASSION and PROFESSION

Making your passion as your profession is just like getting married to your first love. Research can be a typical Indian Woman , if you are dedicated to it then it will provide you all the satisfaction that you need, but if you want a temporary stand, doing research can be very frustrating. So before choosing research as profession you should be clear what you want.

The most frustrating thing about research is that you can't earn money when you are capable of spending. It is slow process like a Dam Biriyani which takes great time to cook but results in greater taste and good for health. But the general quest for quick money, quick success and materialistic hunger force us to do some thing that is not belong to us. Many of us forced ourselves to live a life which we are not intended to.

But the obvious question is asked then why we find so many reason not to pursue to make our passion as our profession, instead fail to find a single reason to do research. I think this question is more political, economical, and sociological rather than scientific.

  1. POLITICAL REASON: Modern era research generally very specific in nature, it needs very dedicated infrastructure which include the 3Ms(Man, Money, Material). The political will power to Attract Man, to Bring money and Provide Material for research. But the political spot light of our country keeps issues like this out of focus for very long. But now we can seen some kind of improvement in it. But till now the efforts are not of the required magnitude. Keeping the longest lasting INDIAN philosophy "In the end sub kuchh thik ho jata hai " , I am dead sure that we will able do excellent research in future.
  2. ECONOMICAL REASON: Largely ours is a developing who struggle most of its Independent era in getting the economy in the right track. We loose our valuable time in deciding in whether it would be a closed one or open one. The initial confusion leads us to dark days of license raj, and red tapism which leads to slow development. But post 90 openness bring much needed FDIs which acts as a ventilator for our dying economy. As now we can interact with the world without killing ourselves the money for high end research is available. So the future seems bright.
  3. SOCIOLOGICAL REASON : "Beta kya karta hai, naukri nahin kia kya" , are "beti sadi kyun nahin karwate" are the consequences of British education system which made us thinking that after graduation education become complete optional. People asks question "are kuchh mila nahin kya, mtech kyun kar rahe ho??"/ "Kya frustu jindegi hai, abhi bi padh raha ha" to phd scholars, thanks to IT and co, who says concentrate more on English rather than ur engineering fundamentals, we will hire u as "CYBER COOLIE". These workplaces can be considered as a grave yard of INDIAN TALENTs. IT companies waste their tremendous man power in editing some pre existing code and sending them to US/UK where they can click some pics and post them to social networking sites and increasing their values in marriage market. So when u choose to do some research a label put on ur head that u r unemployable @ these companies and therefore u r here.

So the important here to conclude that if u want to come to research and wants take it as career then make sure that it is ur love only ..............
